- Do you follow any Nonfiction Book Prizes? A few years back I hadn't even heard of many, but now I have so much fun following my favorite prizes every year! I talk about the ones I follow in my latest Booktube video (link in bio), and new on that list is the Cundill History Prize. These three books (The Horde by Marie Favereau, Blood on the River by Marjoleine Kars, and Survivors by Rebecca Clifford) are the finalists for the 2021 prize and they all look SO GOOD! The winner will be announced this Thursday, December 2nd and I can't wait to see which one wins! Thanks so much to the Cundill History Prize for these gifted copies!Bread based on books! I've been excited to try @novelbreads for a long time, and now I have some very tasty treats for Thanksgiving! 🥖📚 (Not sponsored or affiliated, just showing love for an amazing, local small business ❤)The main branch of the @carnegielibrary in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh is one of my favorite bookish places. One big reason why? When you're browsing the stacks, you can look through the windows and see the dinosaurs from the Natural History Museum (@carnegiemnh), which is part of the same building! 🦕 This picture from @citylifeadventures has always been one of my favorites of this room - if you want GORGEOUS pictures of Pittsburgh in your feed, be sure to give her a follow. 😍 And check out this room in the library when you're in town!

Though I make all of my reading public online, my friends and family largely ignore it, and I’m grateful for that. Thus, I do frequently get asked what I’m reading by people I know personally. When people have posed this … Continue reading
I started this blog roughly four years ago, and with the sincerest intentions. I planned to use it, if not regularly, then at least semi-regularly as I continued making Booktube content. As is made obvious by almost immediate cessation of … Continue reading
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy a good cocktail. And if you’re reading a book blog, you probably enjoy reading as well. My question is… There’s nothing quite like experiencing two things that give you a similar feeling. Reading a … Continue reading
