- Before I get completely wrapped up in Nonfiction November business (follow @nonfictionnovember if you haven't already!), I'm doing some fiction reading/reviewing for my channel and one of my freelance venues. One of the books I definitely wanted to get to before I go into nonfiction-only mode in November was the new book from Amor Towles, The Lincoln Highway.Announcement video linked in my bio! Check it out to hear this year's four challenge words! Also follow our new dedicated Instagram page @nonfictionnovember 🍂📚My first library book sale in 19 months!!! 😭 So much of my book collection was built by going to these sales and getting a ton of books for very little money. Finding my way to different library book sales was actually the way I learned my around Pittsburgh after we moved here. Not going to a single sale in almost two years was incredibly sad, but I'm beyond thrilled that they're starting to come back! 📚❤Spooky season applies to nonfiction, too! This book about blood-sucking creatures would fit the bill, but another book from Bill Schutt would, too: his book on cannibalism. Sinister, sure. But informative!

I started this blog roughly four years ago, and with the sincerest intentions. I planned to use it, if not regularly, then at least semi-regularly as I continued making Booktube content. As is made obvious by almost immediate cessation of … Continue reading
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy a good cocktail. And if you’re reading a book blog, you probably enjoy reading as well. My question is… There’s nothing quite like experiencing two things that give you a similar feeling. Reading a … Continue reading
